About Us
Car Equality imports high quality, high specification vehicles direct from Japan. We specialise in Land Rover Discovery TDi 300 Series and occasionally source other models on request.
We are a UK company located in West Yorkshire with a full time office in Japan. We established our base in Osaka, Japan’s third largest city, in 1996. Two of our founding directors are resident in Yorkshire and two in Osaka, giving us the perfect balance.
Our experienced buying team in central Japan give us full nationwide coverage and we speak both languages around the clock.
We travel the length and breadth of Japan to buy our Discoverys
- 6 days a week. Regular high speed ‘bullet train’ services and long drives help us cover the vast distances required to find the vehicles
we want. Our fellow directors and dedicated buying team spend hours checking and inspecting vehicles with great attention to detail, so that we buy the best condition Discoverys available.
As a long term purchase, Discoverys from Japan are exceptional value for money and will easily last for 15 years.
At Car Equality we offer a personal service and strive to achieve total customer satisfaction. When you visit us in person, we provide an environment where you can view our vehicles in a hassle-free and relaxed way.
We will be happy to Reserve a vehicle for you on request. This will
ensure you don’t miss out on the Discovery you want and we can Reserve it whilst it is in transit from Japan. A fully Refundable Deposit is all that we require.
Many of our customers travel long distances thanks to ‘word of mouth’ recommendations from our UK-wide customer-base. (We have customers in Cornwall, Aberdeen, Northern Ireland, Wales, East Anglia, Kent and, of course, Yorkshire. We’ve even been contacted from as far a field as the Asuncion Islands!)
